This area does have some very beautiful temples, and the most unique and needs to be visited are The Great Buddha of Kamakura (Kamakura Daibutsu). Takao San, JapanVisits which happens quite short, so it was not able to visit Mount Fuji (Hakone Ottawa Kawaguchi Ko) because to get there should be at least provide one full day from morning till night.

But since I'm very fond of the mountains and wants to see the city of Tokyo from the top of the mountain (not on top of buildings). Then I tried searching the web and finally found the "Takao San". And it seems very interesting.

The journey starts from Shinjuku Station ride Keio Line Express heading to TAKAOSANGUCHI, can be reached in about 60 minutes, the total cost of 390 yen.

An amazing experience when he got in Takaosanguchi, we can ride the chairlift (as used for skiing). Seru and from below approximately 10 minutes presented with a view of the trees are very beautiful and charming.

Having reached the above, we can walk up to a temple before we achieve it, we will pass several stops selling Rice Cake and Ice Cream (ice cream sold in this cold place?).

Rent a Car When Doing Travels in Japan

Rent a Car When Doing Travels in Japan - Transportation in Japan is already very advanced, everywhere there are a train, bus, and metro (subway). Ticket prices for cheap are relative in the city. An example of a touring Tokyo Yamanote Line, from Shinjuku to Shibuya for 160 yen.
Images by Google

For out of town such as Nikko, Nagano, Fuji transportation network also was very good.

Train ever came up with a very precise schedule, even if we do not understand kanji, as long as you know what time the train schedules you must arrive, it is enough to find the train you are looking for.

Plus more lately in every carriage, there was already a screen (TV) with Japan and the United Kingdom, at each stop, the screen will show the name of the station.

Much of the range of ticket options, we could buy a variety of PASS. Starting from the JR PASS can be used in nearly all of Japan, and also there is a PASS which can only be used for a specific area such as JR EAST PASS, JR HOKKAIDO PASS, and more. This PASS is perfect for tourists who tour to Japan.

Not long ago introduced a new PASS called JR TOKYO WIDE PASS and JR EAST PASS (NAGANO, NIIGATA), both an attractive option when the tour to Japan.
Roads to Japan

Then why we have to rent a car?

Here are the advantages of rental car itself, for example:

1. There are several attractions that are located a bit far from major cities, such as NIKKO natural heritage, Yamanouchi Monkey Forest, the Fuji Hakone. The only sights can be reached by bus. Buses in remote areas (local) that are generally not covered by JR pass, so we had to buy an additional PASS for the area. The price is often not cheap.

2. Luggage, luggage dragged everywhere was not comfortable, not necessarily the luggage can be deposited in lockers are available at the station. Because the number of lockers at the small station is very limited.
3. Another advantage is the Flexibility, we can stop at attractions that are somewhat hidden. We pass by, look good, stop and hang out.

4. To save cost, rent a car. if the relative cheaper than to buy JR PASS, especially if we're traveling with 4 or 5 people. For travel 7 days, for example, rental car around 58.000 yen, while JR PASS for 4 people alone is 155.520 yen!!

For the reason that (especially No.4) I tried to rent a car make tours to Japan, many web services offer a choice of rental cars with a pretty reasonable price!

After browsing here and there, the requirements for driving in Japan is we had to get an International Driving License.
